The End of the Year

Today is the last day of 2010.

I couldn't be happier.
I'm ready to put this year to rest.

2011 is going to be a good year for spiritual growth.
All the stuff that happened this past year I am no longer bound to. God set me free :-)
He has restored my life.

Isaiah 43:18 states, "Forget the former things, do not dwell on the past."
As it relates to the year, I do not need to dwell on where I've been
The new year symbolizes the beginning of a new journey with God.

That is my prayer: that everyone would remember the new year is the beginning.

Christmas Break is finally here! :-)

I made it through another semester. I survived two of my more difficult classes: Research Methods and Communication Theory.
I enjoy school but I'm glad Christmas break is here.
After a hard semester, I need Christmas break to refocus my life on God and growing in Him.
I know I have made some unhealthy decisions regarding relationships; I know God loves me unconditionally.

I have 3 weeks to just do my devotions hardcore and really seek God out.
I need Him to satisfy me and sometimes I seek it in the wrong places.
So, goodbye for now.
It's time to go journal :-)
peace,
